On June 15, The US Supreme Court ruled the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that protects LGBTQ from being discriminated against at work.

|The Trump administration urged the court to rule otherwise. But according to the Justice Department, sex is a biologically male or female but doesn’t include sexual orientation.

Trump had little reaction to the ruling, he’s said 

“some people were surprised” and “we live with their decision.”

An employer who fires an individual for being gay or transgender resists the law,” Justice Neil M. Gorsuch wrote for the majority in the 6-to-3 ruling.
